Switchable PDLC Smart Film is an innovative privacy solution that transforms ordinary glass surfaces into switchable smart glass without the need to replace the existing glass in suitable applications. Using advanced Polymer Dispersed Liquid Crystal (PDLC) technology, the film changes from a transparent state to a translucent frosted state at the touch of a button.

How does PDLC Smart Film work?
ON Mode – Transparent. When electrical power is applied, the liquid crystal molecules align, allowing light to pass through the film and providing a transparent appearance with visibility through the glass.
OFF Mode – Frosted Privacy. When the power is switched off, the liquid crystal molecules become randomly oriented, scattering light and creating a translucent frosted appearance. This helps provide visual privacy while allowing diffused light to enter.
The film can be operated using a wall switch, remote control or compatible smart automation system.
